How great is that! My granddaughter, Cally, and her husband presented me with a great-grandson just before Cary and I started a 12-day trek in the Himalayas in late November. I’m so thrilled and happy that all went well and my daughter, Martha, is with them through the New Year.
The high point. literally, of our month’s stay in India and Nepal, was summiting 12,500 foot Ama Yangri in the Yolmo–a grueling, steep uphill into the clouds, with a 360 degree view of the Langtang Range and surrounding mountains and valleys.
