The Hadzabe tribe in Tanzania is one of the last of the hunter-gatherer tribes in Africa. They live a life that seems more like the stone age than the present, using only knives, and a bow and arrow. They supplement their meager diet of rodents, birds, and small animals with berries gleaned from trees and bushes. It’s hard for a westerner to fathom how they survive, especially when they have so little available water. We spent the day with them and went on a hunt with the young boys. Only one older man accompanied us.
